ProClarity Professional allows users to create subtotals for rows and columns on the fly. But sometimes it appears as though the subtotals aren't "calculating properly". Below is an example:
The calculated member called "Store GM %" is not calculating properly. This is because the ProClarity subtotal formula is calculating AFTER the database provides the result. (As you can see, the subtotal is summing the percents.) To prevent this from happening, all calculated members should have a solve order of 1001 or greater. In Analysis Services there is a "solve order" property. If this is set to 1001 or above, then the database will calculate the percent AFTER ProClarity.
Once the solve order is set, the proper value is displayed.
